National Youth Day
12th January is celebrated every year as the National Youth Day all over India to mark the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. Starting from this year the government of India is celebrating the 150th birth aniversary on a grand scale.
Friday Discussion
As Friday night approaches the VSC room in Brahmaputra hostel comes alive with the best brains in the country discussing the deep philosophy of life. 
Sunday Class
Our much loved programme, these are held regularly in MSB-242, from 9 30 to 12 noon. It is a soothing retreat after a hectic week. Guided Meditation

Special Lectures
VSC organizes guest lectures and workshops, by eminent personalities from various fields on topics of national relevance, and visits to sites in and around Chennai associated with Indian heritage. Ten-day spoken Sanskrit camps are also sometimes organized. Vivekananda Inspires
